Dr Darren Goh Wei Tat is a General Practitioner with a keen interest in palliative medicine.
Dr Darren graduated from the NUS Yong Loo Ling School of Medicine with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS, Singapore) in 2019. Currently, he is pursuing a Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine (GDFM, NUS) and holds a certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He has worked in various public hospitals in Singapore, gaining experience in diverse medical areas such as emergency medicine, intensive care (ICU), and cardiothoracic surgery. He has also worked in several community hospitals and their palliative care wards before joining VickyCares as a resident homecare physician.
Dr Darren is passionate about palliative care, emphasizing the importance of addressing not only physical symptoms like pain and discomfort but also emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Nurse Jacqueline Teo is a trained Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of nursing experience.
Jacqueline graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2008 with Diploma in Nursing. She pursued Advanced Diploma in Gerontology in 2011, Bachelor of Science with Distinction in 2013, Graduate Diploma in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing in 2016 and Master of Science (Clinical Nursing) in 2018. She worked in a multi-disciplinary ward in Singapore General Hospital for 9 years before transferred to Sengkang General Hospital. She handled oncology, haematology and palliative cases in SGH and was also one of the nurses who cared for the VIPs. In Sengkang General Hospital, Jacqueline was a specialty nurse for wound and stoma and has vast experience in handling complex wound and stoma cases.
Jacqueline is a committee member of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Chapter under the Singapore Nurses’ Association and a member of Wound Healing Society Singapore and World Council of Enterostomal Therapists. She actively presents and gives talk in local and international conferences.
